Plastic pants are popular in this group, whether for hygiene purposes or just that nice smooth, slippery feeling. Rubber also has its fans, and I'm definitely among them, but the cost and lack of availability makes it less accessible. Many years ago there was a firm selling them on eBay at a reasonable price and I had enough to wear daily for a season, but it doesn't last forever so I moved on to some other perversion. But until recently I wasn't aware of silicone as a clothing material.
Some months ago YouTube introduced me to Celine Nox, a latex model with a YouTube channel, and she's demonstrated a range of silicone clothing - fashion items like catsuits, dresses, swimming costumes etc. One of her comments was that it's heavier than latex and hence didn't follow the body as tightly, but it looked and felt pretty good anyway.
Then a month or so back I spotted adverts on AliExpress for silicone underwear, women's briefs mainly, so I bought a pair, and they turned out to be a little tight (as they only went to size L, when I'd probably need an XL) and cut rather narrow between the thighs, so keeping everything in place was a bit of an art. But they felt great so I ordered a couple more. They wash easily and dry in a day so I've been wearing them continuously for a month now, with no unexpected effects.
Celine Nox is right about the weight, and measuring with digital callipers the material reads around 0.7mm in thickness, significantly more than the usual 0.4mm or less of typical latex clothing. It seems to tolerate heavier handling than ordinary latex, where an errant fingernail can destroy a garment. Unlike latex it doesn't have a noticeable smell so wearing from new in public isn't an issue.
Also available were cycling or Bermuda style shorts which I would really like but significantly more expensive and I've had bad experiences with those in plastic or rubber tearing at the thighs after just one or two wearings.
As to price, these were around £/$/€ 5, compared with up to £/$/€ 10 for cheap 'sex shop' grade latex panties and 2-3 times that for quality ones.
Anyone else tried them?

Re: Silicone underwear
Silicone rubber is a great material to wear and I wish there were more fetish clothes made from it, so far all I have is a matching set of gloves and long socks and a very heavy 2mm hood, I'd love some underwear and have seen the blue ones on AliExpress but they don't sell them in big enough sizes for me.

Re: Silicone underwear
Suzie High do a silicone/latex mix in some clothes, and they aren't a bad price either
