Re: Driving in my mac and rainbonnet!

This wet weather is great for a change isn't it.
This morning I drove my girlfriend to work then once I had dropped her off I got into my Bright Yellow PVC-u-like mac with hood. I could'nt resist calling in the nearby newsagent to buy a paper while wearing it.
The woman who owns the shop is in her fifties and sometimes wears one of the Primark thin macs herself anyway. I have noticed her looking at my shiny SBR mac before but did'nt bother looking at me twice in this Yellow one - it was pouring down anyhow.
Then driving to work in my SBR trenchcoat, quite normal these days, no-one at work gives it a second glance but it was so comfortable against the squally wind and shrugging off the heavy rain whilst others today wore short thin golf jackets and shell suit style tops.
