Love the rainy weather, a girlfriend agreed to model a nice retro semi clear pvc mac circa 1960 era and a nice clear accordian rainmate for me during a recent walk in the park in the rain, It was sheer bliss. She was a great sport indeed.

I've taken advantage of the bad weather this week to don my rubber lined satin macs and wellies to travel to work and have had several compliments on my sensible clothing from fellow travellers.
I went for a long walk yesterday evening in the rain fully protected in my SBR mac, souwester and black wellies................... a wonderful way to unwind after a busy week.

Though I like rainwear,I must confess that if it's going to teem down with rain for hours I'd rather be inside.
Light drizzle or short heavy showers are a different matter.
I was at an outdoor event today, and the weather consisted of showers and sunny spells.
Many people(including me of course)had their rain gear, and part of the days enjoyment was seeing what was being worn.
