"Singin' in the Rain" - Alice Lon 1958

Every so often I go searching 'singing in the rain' to see what new appears. Just found this clip from the Lawrence Welk show in 1958 of Alice Lon, a nice scene showing her putting the raincoat on, it's semi-see through but not sure if it is plastic?
I wonder how many other variety shows from the 50's/60's period featuring 'rain' song and dance routines we have yet to find.
I also found a still I had not seen before from the Holywood Review 1929, don't seem to be wearing very much under the macs!
