Although no-one in the UK needs anyone to tell them that the country is getting wetter in recent years, if you look at the MetOffice website there is a report which not only proves that but seems to suggest that the Uk and parts of Asia are likely to remain in the trend for more intense rainstorms over shorter periods.

Good news for rainwear fans , Weathervain, Pvc-u-like and hopefully more rainwear manufacturers and potential wearers !

Good for you ... Australia is getting hotter and drier :-( Some Outback towns have been recording temperatures close to 50 degrees during the last couple of weeks - that's CELSIUS, not Fahrenheit!! :-((

One place (Birdsville) was so hot that the rubberised base of people's thongs (Aussie footwear) actually melted upon contact with the hot tarmac outside

I haven't enjoyed a good rainy day outing for months either. huhu
