No, they wear them in the US. My wife for a start! Often rubber-lined satin mackintoshes!

If anything, there are probably more women in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland who wear rainwear than anywhere else, just have a look at regnfrakker.dk!

On my visits to Holland & Germany I would guess more ldies wearing rainwear there than in UK, certainly by what I saw last June

I live in Holland close to the German border, but woman in nice attractive rainwear are a very rare sight.

HiTaurus. That's where I was last June, place called Vaals right on the Dutch/German/Belgian border.

Had two days when it rained and plenty of ladies dressed for it, long raincoats as well as cagools

at open air concerts during spring and summer you can see lots of pvc raingear on a wet day. Germany, especially Munich are nice places for some pvc rainwear sights.

Even here at the countryside where I live (Northern Lower Saxony) you doesn´t find the rainwear ladies very often . At least nobody is bothered when I wear my rainstuff as it rains a lot over here.It could be more a scandinavian thing I suppose.

I would say France, Germany, Scotland and Sweden are the best places for rainwear. The further south you go in the UK the less shiny rainwear you tend to see.
