I have a White PVC semi transparent raincoat made out of quite thick PVC.
There are now some brown stains appearing on one side of the raincoat.
Has any member got any ideas how these can be removed. I have tried warm water and a spounge.

Try using goo-gone (what you use to clean up sneakers) Should work.

I wonder if its just the ageing process, the white clear pvc does seem to have that kind of effect after a while. Has the pvc stayed supple or has it got hard as well over the years?

Hi Merv.
The pvc is stiil very supple. I keep my raincoats in a dark wardrobe out of the light. The only other time i have seen this sort of staining was on white single and double textured rubber raincoats that have been quite old.
