Yootha Joyce has appeared in PVC macs a few times in sitcoms. At the beginning of this episode she makes an entrance in a shiny beige colour mac. The best scene is sadly only 12 seconds long featuring a girl in a black plastic mac and rain bonnet (13.40).

you have to remember back in the 60s/70s such items of clothing were commonplace and so hardly surprising that they get worn in tv programmes
