an interesting challenge this week
this is my listing starting at £3.99 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151223061052? ... 1555.l2649
and someone else has the same thing startng at £10.99 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281258678511? ... 1423.l2649
to be fair the other person has managed a better picture than me so maybe the better picture is worth £7.00
take your bets on who gets the best sale (if we manage a sale at all of course)

Re: go travel raincoats on ebay
Merv, I prefer your pictures as well as the price, but why don't you let us Yanks have a go at it?
Re: go travel raincoats on ebay
unfortunately I have had my fingers well and truly burned with overseas bidders in the past. whether foreign post is completely unreliable or people have taken advantage I can only wonder at, and signed for postage is extortionate so really cannot ask anyone to pay that. so sorry its UK only now, nothing personal to you Kulshan
Re: go travel raincoats on ebay
Merv, I've traded to the UK many times and have never had a problem. I respect what you want to do, but honestly have never once been burned shipping to the UK as you can attest with some items you've purchased from my end. That said, if you want to open the door, let me know. One not that's important is to make sure to print large, make the address and postal codes accurate and tape over the address so wet won't get to it. The recorded part of it is not necessary. When shipping takes place from the USA there is a delivery confirmation that goes with it, so I know it can be traced. Never had to, though.
Re: go travel raincoats on ebay
well thanks to Ray for the use of the pictures my auction went to £21.00 while the higher starter only got one bid on his and stuck on £10,99. Seems to prove that starting with a low bid is helpful if you have the right pictures to sell the product. So thanks again Ray for your help
