And your problem with that is ?

Surely you are intelligent enough to recognise spitfire617's posts and can ignore them if you dont like them

It's ironic that someone who produces nothing original complains about people who obviously enjoy their rainwear and are happy to share their images - it seems your main contribution is to provide unwarranted English lessons to the people who are good enough to provide stories

Instead of criticising the efforts of others why not do something original

We are ALL here at the invitation of Paul the forum owner and I'm sure he is able to decide how he wants HIS site run and what content it contains without resorting to a vote

Only stop if YOU want to or if Paul the forum owner asks you to, otherwise its not up to anyone else

I know how disheartening it must be to see comments like that but let's face it it's not as if it comes from someone who knows the hard work put into producing original content

Although if i'm honest many of your pictures are not to my personal taste with regard to the type of rainwear, i would never discourage a pair of true rainwear fans from enjoying and posting pics of their exploits.

As you say Ray, just don't open the threads if you are not interested. Maybe if other members took pics or reposted other relevent info then there would be more contributers.

All I can say Spitfire is do carry on posting your fine photo's !

It is always good to see you both in a variety of rain-gear doing exactly what rainwear is designed for, ie wearing it outdoors in public, perhaps something that we should all be doing a whole lot more of.

I do hope you and other forum users continue sharing your pictures and interest with us, after all it is a rainwear forum and should be encouraged. I hope you both continue wearing and taking photos in public for a long time to come.

To be fair, it's not as if blackmacjay has never posted anything of value; he's written some excellent stories, particularly the long-running "Come Rain, Come Shine" serial, which is still among my favorite reads on these boards.

Can't we all just get along?
