A nice long 4 minute scene of Margaret Sullivan in a semi-clear plastic raincoat from 1950.

Thanks very much for sharing this. I hadn't seen it before and it is fantastic.

The mac is worn superbly, being buttoned up to the neck and belted although I would have liked to have seen the hood up. The plastic looks very soft which I like and see-through without being glass clear, lovely ! Even the slightest body movement is accentuated by the soft supple material.

The mac looks as though it has been chosen to fit the wearer and the style is long and flowing. The belt also accentuates the female body cocooned inside. The hood is folded neatly at the back and care has been taken to show the whole mac as neatly and attractively as possible, unlike today when most macs tend to be shapeless, ill-fitting and, very commonly, "one-size-fits-all" .Everything about the actress and the outfit is so feminine. I wish we could see women today being more feminine wearing pretty coloured dresses instead of of the drab (usually black) attire that they seen to wear so uniformly.

Regards,
Jeff.
