Hi Mac People. Today on BBC's breakfast show there was a 5min news article about the UK company "Mackintosh" and the revival of quality priced ,hand made rubber proofed Mackintoshes. It showed clips of girls cutting the fabric and piecing together the garments. It also showed stills of celebrities wearing Mackintosh garments. Did anybody else see it?
Kelvin.

I didn't see the piece do you have a link to the item?
Would love to have seen the story, all those people working on producing gorgeous mackintoshes.

Had a look at the BBC Mackintosh story. Pity the reporter didn't try on a mack!!
Quite pricey coats.

There is another item on the Mackintosh company which is available on this site://vimeo.com/12809738 and is about the visit to this company by a fashion guru called Gok,who has a programme on.I think, the UK Channel 4.

Thanks for sharing these two videos.I agree that it was a shame that the reporters didn't wear a mac during their interviews...................perhaps they did so afterwards.!!

I wonder if the Mackintosh company owners, directors and staff are into rubber mackintoshes!!!
I imagine them all wearing them.
I bet some of the staff quite enjoy working there because of their love for mackintoshes.
