As Ray said - you may use an external service like imgur.com (I use that one, too).
Create an account, upload your image there, click on it, copy the BB-code and paste it in here. That's it

You can directly integrate images into your post (not just a link):

1. Creating a post choose "Full Editor & Preview"
2. Then in the icon bar (b-old, i-talic, u-nderline, quotes, etc.) - click the "image" icon (mountain + sun) => it inserts two "img"-tags 3. Imagine I wanted to link to this board's logo - styles/prosilver/theme/images/logo.jpg - what I do: paste the URL (image address) between the two img-tags like this and have a look at the preview - doesn't look bad - submit and here it is:
