Olympics 2012 - raincoats?

It is now less than 500 days until the Olympics starts in the UK next year. As the only sports I like have wheels and engines, I don't think I will be very interested
Having said that, I was not really interested in the last one in China, until I saw the vast amount of colourful plastic rainwear on display. Apparently free raincoats and ponchos were given to spectators on wet days.
I wondered if raincoats will be provided for staff and spectators at the event next year? I guess we will have to wait and see.
Phil.
By the way - my local Primark in Camberley had five of last years pink plastic jackets on sale this morning at a £1 each, and no I'm not going to buy them for anyone! There is no sign on any new 'sensible' rainwear in the store though I see the Poundland stores have raincoats for only a £1.
