I was in St Andrews last week. It was cold, wet and windy. Walking along the beach by the golf course with my dogs, walking slowly towards me was a couple in matching shiny bright red Farmerrain type coveralls with jackets and mittens on over the top. Hoods up, arm in arm, they looked very content and happy! Boy did I have a big twinge of jealousy! I wondered whether it might be somene on here! It put my sad nylon windbreaker to shame!

Serves you right for not wearing something far more appropriate in the circumstances. In fact I am going to serve a punishment on you. Reading your recent scribes, you must wear your thick shiny fur hooded puffer when walking the dogs tomorrow. Hood up, whatever the weather. Enjoy!!!!
..........how weird! I've never been dominant before!

I did as I was told! Most enjoyable. The hood stayed up, the drizzle fell down, several other drowned rat looking dog walkers, I swear, looked on enviously, two even gave me a bit of a wave! Marvellous. Definitely doing that again!
