Thats what I call being 'Perdantic'.........You didn't work in the Civil Service, did you........... as that's a typical Civil Servant response.

From my point of view I am pointing others in the direction of some Mackintosh stories even if they are on another site.

Before making 'Perdantic' comments........I would suggest you check how many members there are on this site............ and then compare that number to how many actually make a written contribution.
Far too many sites have what I call 'hangers-on'

Thanks I'll have a look. I've written a few short stories simply for my own and my husbands enjoyment but have never shared or even known how to.

Hmmmm....... in Scotland its spelt 'pedantic'. I'm sure there are some very decent chaps in the civil service, probably quite a few on here. I have to agree however on the sad lack of contributors to this forum. I do contribute occasionally, so will be doubling my efforts in the future.
