ebay sellers reselling rainwear from other sites

I noticed some ebay sellers are resellers from other sites where they were listed for a fraction of the price. for example mercari i see reversible raincoats selling for under 30 USD and then the same one gets listed for 4 or 5 times the amount only for outrageous bids getting placed in the end.

It’s just commerce. Whether it’s raincoats or car parts, people will sell stuff and try to make money. If the buyer is fooled is all part of the game. Sometimes people are less interested in the cost and need things faster, or easier to buy. I like to watch sites like these and you do see reasonable to daft pricing for items. The answer is always to do research, but if the seller lies then that is another thing. Lots of people have complained about cheap Chinese sites using images from premium manufacturers which are not the item on sale. Loads of rip-offs of PVC-U-LIKE images doing the rounds to sell cheap knock-offs.

I once bought an air fryer from Amazon. The description and pictures were the higher model I wanted, but the seller delivered the lower model. The seller then ignored my communications so I opened a case wirh Amazon who were supremely indifferent and basically said “you got a product stop complaining”. Told my wife at the time we should never buy from Amazon again yet, but if anything, she increased her purchasing from them.
