As a person I have no concept of the word normal, Im an individual and live my life by a set of rules Im comfortable with, I don’t expect others to judge me on my sexual orientation or practices so I don’t judge others

I pay good money to go and see Eddie Izzard because he’s a comedian that makes me laugh, I don’t watch his films because they don’t appeal to me, neither decision is made because he’s a transvestite

Lets just get on with enjoying rainwear and let other people do the same, if you don’t like what someone is doing some where else then avoid it, you have a mind of your own

Do you think that Chucky was trolling us with his original post? If ever there was a post guaranteed to stir things up for no good reason, it was surely his.

If he wasn't trolling us, then I think he really does need help - if only with anger management!

think you may well be right that chucky was trolling us with his original post. I still suspect that he is American, hence the chuckyrulestheworld bit, it seems as a nation they do have this aim. It was down to disapproving Americans that I gave up on putting vids on youtube. It so was not worth the aggro.

Chucky3fm & Pemogubben, pull your heads in - both of you, otherwise I will be forced to ban you. I can do that, if I absolutely have to, if that's what it takes to keep the peace here.

As Ray just pointed out; this forum is about experiencing the joy of wearing rainwear (be it rubber, PVC, plastic, vinyl or nylon) ... it's OK to disagree with other people's opinions as long as you do so in a respectful and thoughtful manner.

Bagging or criticising other people because they share is different sexual orientation to ours simply isn't on for very obvious reasons. Our rainwear fetish is the defining reason why we're here; not least because the great (mostly uneducated) majority consider it weird at best, perverted at worst. Here, (almost) everybody else understands and that's a great comfort for those struggling to come to terms with their "thing for plastic" (or whatever else floats your boat)

I know it's none of these things, but that's not how they see it. Would you like it if someone started slagging off at you because you're wearing a mac? Or watching a girlfriend you really like, up and leave and walk out of your life because she can't stand this plastic thing? Can you understand how hypocritical it is to taunt or criticise others with "different" sexual preferences to your already somewhat unusual preferences?

Some religious freaks even consider masturbation to be an abomination ... never mind what we get up to here.

You've got to be joking right?....take a short trip back in time and it was just the norm (whatever the norm is) for both sexes to wear plastic macs in inclement weather....i even recently bought a cheap plastic raincoat labelled "unisex" from a local Sally Army shop so who the hell is that aimed at?....sorry if you're disgusted!...and i thought the current Church of England were the only phobic bigots around!!!
