Found this the other day while searching for 'Raincoat' in Chinese! A nice scene depicting a young girl in a shop trying on a plastic raincoat with some help from a sales assistant. The raincoat is unusual in having a pattened coat under see through plastic, and all those studs to fasten, fabulous. Close inspection shows there is another one hanging on the rack behind her. I hope it's a case of - "Don't bother wrapping it, I'll wear it home"!
Phil.
Can I help you with that?

Nice - never seen anything like those before
Would enjoy helping the young lady in (& out ) of her coat...

I'd say there's a pretty good chance that it's a "I'll wear it home" type moment, given that the other girl is popping open an umbrella - I'm assuming they got caught in the rain and went looking for appropriate protection in the store.

Very observant Bill - unless she was trying to bring bad luck -apparently you bring that by openning an umbrella indoors or when not raining....lolBill_P wrote:I'd say there's a pretty good chance that it's a "I'll wear it home" type moment, given that the other girl is popping open an umbrella - I'm assuming they got caught in the rain and went looking for appropriate protection in the store.

This brings back memories of buying a calf length cagoule and an attractive assistant doing it up for me.
I think it was her actions that sold it to me as much as its waterproof qualities.
