Guy Cotten Rainwear

I'm looking at buying a Guy Cotten jacket (probably either the Rosbras or Isoder)
Mainly for walking the dog and working outdoors but maybe for some 'fun' as well
Does anyone own either of these?
Are they of good quality, is the surface 'nice and slippery', are they shinier than they look on the website?

I had a Yellow Guy Cotten Rosbras jacket I bought in Plymouth about 10 years ago. They are well made and quite warm but not very shiny adn I would 'nt know how to go about getting a shine on them.
I think if you look on a website that sells them then the really heavy Orange smock and coats / trousers are a bit shinier. They are quite expensive also.
I know now that they also make them in White which looks very good.

If it's shiny rainwear you are looking for, I would suggest Maxden Rainwear in South Africa, our admin Paul sells it, it is quite heavy duty but maybe not as heavy as Guy Cotten ar the Scandinavian brands.

for me its the old fashioned shiny cotton backed pvc oilskins that i love, the type with laces at the neck and a hood. i have three of them made by yarmouth. so hard to get hold of these days sadly. the nearest thing to them are the maxinden type from paul, but nothing beats the old oilies.
