From the the TV serie "Father Charlie" (1982) there's an episode were the nuns wear plastic rainwear and rain bonnets.
Does anyone have that episode on VHS or DVD?

I think you're really trying to talk to regenhoedje. Whilst I am quite a collector of movies, mine are more mainstream rather than devoted to pvc, rubber etc. like his, though I do have some.

I didn't mean to imply that your film collection was restricted to the ones in your link, but rather that my collection was not even restricted to films that include rainwear at all. I admit that rainwear content has often influenced my decision as to which films to include.
With regard to 'Father Charlie", you don't actually mention that this was a UK TV series shown on ITV in 1982 starring Lionel Jeffries and Anna Quayle. Not only had I never watched it - I'd never even heard of it! Then again, it only ran for one short season of six episodes, so I assume it wasn't a success. Was it shown on Dutch TV? Or do you receive UK TV?

Sitting thru three series of Laverne and Shirley is an endurance test well and truly above and beyond the call of duty. Though maybe just bearable if you kept the 'mute' on!!
I notice the British series 'The Liver Birds' has just come out on DVD, and I seem to remember some nice scenes especially with Nerys Hughes.

'Alice' was shown on UK TV on Channel 4 around 5 p.m. 1984-86, but since I was working then, I never saw it.
12 episodes of 'Laverne and Shirley' were shown on ITV (London area only) in 1978-9. Other ITV regions subsequently had sporadic showings. A further 32 episodes were screened by BBC2 in 1988 at 6.30a.m. I did see some of these, but was not overly impressed. (It is said to have been extremely popular in the USA.) I don't remember seeing a plastic mac episode, but probably wasn't paying that much attention at that time in the morning.

It's also possible that Elizabeth Estensen (Carol in Series 5-9) may have occasionally worn a short one, but I'm not sure. (The only Carla Lane series I ever liked was 'I Woke Up One Morning' about four alcoholics recovering in a sanatorium, which was quite serious at times. No macs.)
