Rohan Rainwear

Post by hotwilly »

I know its not plastic / pvc but I cannot get my wife to wear that

She is looking at a Rohan Gobetrotter Mac -
http://www.rohan.co.uk/Product/Detail/W ... e=03155440

Expensive at £145 in Charcoal or very expensive at £225 in beige

Anybody any experience with Rohan???

Well I feel sorry for your wife's decision that PVC isn't for her.

But this Rohan stuff seems to me to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

Wish she would have PVC
I have a PVC U Like mac & could get her one form there or Rainmac

What appeals to her about this one is that it is 100% waterproof / lightweight & packs away into itself, which sadly PVC does not do

Well, my wife has 2 from Rainmac. They are both in PVC, one in black and one in lilac. Fortunately for me, she loves both. They both have hoods which she takes off because she's not a "hood person".

And they're a lot cheaper than the Rohan mackintosh you pictured.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to call it the ugliest thing I've ever seen, but I will say that it does absolutely nothing for me, it's just so drab & boring.

Thanks for all your comments.
The Rohan doesn't exactly float my boat.
Would much prefer a Rainmac or Pul mac, they look and feel ( to me) nicer and look sexier
Don't think I will be going to Parkasite thank Paul.
What she wants is something lightweight yet waterproof.
Cheers, HW
