Asda are doing so too with their umbrellas and ponchos.
I bought Colleen two, a clear one and a blue transparent one.
(I do not think she will wear them)
But they will be OK as a stand by rainmac for the video camera lol lol!

Best wishes

I was in the UK middle of last year - I saw a grand total of three (3) visor rain bonnets in seven weeks (one at Stonehenge, one in Fort William and one in Bournemouth I think - somewhere on the South Coast anyway). The FW lady looked about 50 - the other two pushed the total ages well over 200. This was in the weeks immediately before the Olympics when the weather was dreadful. I also saw a whole zero in the crowds for the Jubilee. Also I never saw an accordion folded rainhat from one end of the country to the other.

I saw rain bonnets on sale in Boots, but they were also selling those dirt-cheap feeble clear umbrellas from the same display rack at about the same price. They looked undersized and in the wind wouldn't last as far as I could throw one, but 99.9% of women are going to buy an umbrella instead of a rain bonnet, especially paying the same.

Boots are going through the motions. My guess would be it means nothing. I'd love to be wrong, especially if the accordion type ever returned, but I can't see it.

Cheers BJ

bizarrely saw an elderly lady in Norwich yesterday wearing one of those rain bonnets. Considering the sun was shining and there was no chance of rain have to rather wonder why she did so

come to think of it Norwich does have an awful lot of pigeons. Perhaps she had been targeted in the past and was just taking no chances, more likely old age though, haha
