If I had the time and I could get hold of small reasonably priced PVC welding / heating equipment I would make my own rainwear. It would be a lot cheaper than bidding the outlandish amounts for many rainwear items on e-bay.

The thing is many items of raingear are getting these sorts of prices but a lot of them are damaged, ripped or marked in some way so probably won't last long in any case !
