Hey you - wearing grey Stutterheim and yellow Friesennerz in Munich

Post by nerzman »

Hi all,

Various times I've now seen a guy in the Munich subway who can only be a member of our "community".
Every time it rains he wears either a grey Stutterheim (like today) or a yellow Friesennerz. He seems to share his passion with a girl who I saw in yellow Friesennerz and in a green shiny PVC raincoat.

Each time seeing him or them I don't dare to say something - what should I say? "hey, are you a member of our 'secret' passion as well"? Sounds weird.

Maybe the anonymous guy is reading this post - if you like, send a response. No worries - not looking for a sexual man-to-man-thing (I'm a big fan of women indeed). Maybes just someone in the near environment to have a chat on fetish, rainwear, whatever.

Greetings,
nerzman

Oh dear

There seems to be a BIG clue "Every time it rains he wears either a grey Stutterheim (like today) or a yellow Friesennerz"

Hmmm let's look at the clues, when it rains he wears a raincoat - now that's really strange behaviour - surely he must be a fetishist

I dont think going up to them and saying "hey, are you a member of our 'secret' passion as well" sounds that weird, it's certainly not as weird as going up to them and saying "hey, are you wearing a raincoat because it's raining" now that would be weird

Lets face it taking into account the number of members / lurkers here and the amount of people with access to the internet they MUST be reading this

Oh well, passed my bedtime

I think Ray was trying to say, probably not.

In all seriousness, Stutterheims and yellow Friesennerz are quite trendy at the moment, just look at ebay. He's probably more fashion conscious than a rainwear fetishist. I wouldn't put him, or yourself in the situation.

Ooops you spotted it :D

I went to Glastonbury the other year and must have asked over a thousand people dressed in various rainwear if they had a rainwear fetish but apparently they'd gone to watch the artists on stage, strange people

Im sure its me getting older but I'm starting to find some of the posts on here rather desperate, maybe I should take my own advice and stop looking :o

Yes Ray you are getting older!
But to me it does look like creepy and stalking behaviour but that is just my opinion.

OMG folks - are you serious? Creepy and stalking? Should I just never post again? Come on...
(yeah I'm lying in the subway the whole day waiting for my innocent victims to appear - sure)

What I posted was the result of various spottings. There are days I can bet I see him (or them together) again. Maybe he's fashion conscious. Maybe he's a bit more - who knows. My post is only a possibility to find out. That's all. I can continue life fabously if he doesn't answer.

Won't bother with my off-topics posts again. Maybe I'll find a stalking forum where people like it more :)

It is probably very natural for most of us here when we see somebody else in sensible rain wear, to wonder if they share any other 'interest' than just keeping dry.

You said that you see these people quite regularly, have you thought of when it is raining, going out dressed in YOUR rain gear ?

Then perhaps the more they come across you dressed similarly, the more likely that sooner or later they may comment on your rain wear.

What rain gear do you have ? Is it similar to the others you have seen people wearing ?

@nerzman - it's your choice whether you post again or not, you weren't off topic your post was about rainwear but your statement 'who can only be a member of our "community"' has no proof, I wear training shoes most of the time it doesn't mean I'm an athlete and if a complete stranger came up to me and tried to engage me in conversation about my shoes I'd think it was weird

@Jjai - I must be one of the few who dont wonder if people dressed in rainwear share our 'interest' I just think its a fairly normal thing to do

@spitfire617 - I feel old :)

ok folks - I think we should no exaggerate things at this point. We've all pointed out our opinion - fine (well we're a forum and it lives from opinions), personally I'm neither a stalker or a weirdo and some people seem to be getting old - fine as well. Maybe someone else responds to the original post or not. We will see...
