[quote="Yellowpvc"]I was in primary school and remember my mum always buying fancy wellies, other kids had normal shiny black dunlops and I was jealous. I was in a shop when I was about 5/6 and there was a rail with yellow kids PVC rainsuits and also red ones and I kept asking to get one but was not allowed. When at the supermarkets the trolley boys would wear yellow PVC suits in the rain and I wanted one so bad, still not sure why I was turned on by the boots or suits but it has stayed with me ever since. Thankfully I now have numerous pairs of wellies and yes I have a pair of black dunlops, I also have a few yellow PVC rainsuits so it all worked out ok in the end!

Probably since my early teens when I was made to wear a heavy black rubber full length trenchcoat fully buttoned and belted, black rubber overtrousers, black rubber boots, black rubber gloves and a black rubber sou'wester, over the top of thick woollies. This outfit had to be worn for smart outings, even during boiling hot sunny days. I remember going on a picnic one summer and having to wear all this gear, suprising how many funny looks I got!

I was in my early teens (14) when the jelly coats arrived and most of my girlfriends were wearing them to school.
My first one was a deep red one with a white rope in the hood and around the waiste. I remember my friend taking me to woolworths to try them on, she was so sexy and we tried on about 6 in all.I remember taking off my school blouse in the changing rooms at school and trying one on it was a yellow one that belonged to her, it was extra small and like a glove on me, she came in and we both enjoyed a wee feel.. God,, well that was my first time.

Have been into pvc rainwear since about 5 years old. I'm 25 years old now. Used to have a pvc mac when i was at primary school. It really started when i was 15 and had first got the internet and was looking for a new raincoat and came across ladies wearing pvc macs and it took off from there. I have only just bought my first black pvc mac and black pvc trousers.

I wore my mac into work a few weeks ago and had a few nice comments. One of the girls said 'i like your shiny mac it's nice' another said 'you look like a hiker' and we laughed. One guy said it looks kinky is it rubber so i said no it's better than that it's pvc and he laughed. That put me off from wearing my mac into work again but i do sometimes wear it when i'm out and it's raining and i'm not at work.

Don't be afraid fot wearing such of rainwear. Be strong, your womans schould be proub to wearing tose beautiful coats.
As man is het it not done to wear those coats.
My wife is always wearing her long black shiny poly-urethane raincoat, and she love the reactions.
Good luck, from a raincoat lover.

ah shinymac, why worry what other people say, if you keep wearing the mac to work then it will become commonplace and nobody will bat an eyelid especially if you turn up dry when its peeing down. Can understand people may think it odd on a hot summers day but why would it be odd to wear a raincoat in the rain.

Perhaps we need a picture of said raincoat so we can judge for ourselves

Hi rainbeau,
Nice to see you on this group-welcome!
Thats an interesting post.Unfortunately with winter here it's difficult to dress up and get really nice and hot,but there is next year to look forward to.
Cheers for now

Hi Merv. Thanks for the encouraging words. Here is a link to the pvc mac. It's pretty much the same mac that mine is but my mac is a cagoule and it has front pockets. http://pvc-u-like.com/store/showitem.asp?id=1652 the colour of my mac is MB so search through the colours until you come to MB (Matt Black). What do you think of the colour?

cannot see anything wrong with that shinypvcmac, black is hardly an outrageous colour. its actually the kind of coat you could wear on an autumn day when its abit chilly but not freezing even if it isnt actually raining. Keep wearing it. Dont let a couple of comments put you off. There is always going to be someone who thinks that if you aren't wearing the latest item from topman then you cannot be dressing right. Why be one of the sheep. I fear if I saw you wearing it i would just get horny thoughts but thats another matter, lol
