perhaps the powers that be thought it was creepy like I did, whether he was a dirty old man, or young one, taking pictures like that to spread over the net seems less than desirable

Re: New website: www.rainwear-streetshots.com
I was very upset to read the about the negative opinions that was written to this forum about the pictures taken on the street and it really hurt me to read about that.
We are all readers of this site and together we have a common interest in what normal people call a perversion and of that reason we are all in one way or another “filthy” persons in their eyes.
Some of us use Philippinans girls for ther purpose – perhaps (former?) prostitutes- and we enjoy the pictures they are taken. Some makes polls of what kind of colour of clothing is more preferable. Some of us write about ther experience by lending or stealing another persons raincoat. That’s also very “filthy”in a normal peoples mind.
I personally think, and I am sure that my opinion is shared, that it is attractive to see an old lady wearing her personal raincoat rather than a picture taken from a young girl probably wearing the coat only once for the photo session.
Being a raincoat fetishist I do not think there are “filthy” persons by us and I decline with thanks the hard words and the expression of the word “filthy” written about the person that informs about his new site.
Please calm down and take it easy it is not your role to be a judge in what is right or wrong.
By the way here is a nice link for the movie Cargo to Capetown.

I was sorry to see that you felt hurt about what others have written, but as far as I can see the only person using the word “filthy” is you
Nerzman says that some of the pictures were taken with permission which I think is great, I wish I had the courage to do that
But a lot of this style of image seems to be taken from a distance and without the ‘victim’ being aware they were being photographed
I would guess most people wearing rainwear are doing so because of the weather not because they have a special liking for it and they would find it a little ‘strange’ or even ‘creepy’ for people to want to photograph them
How do you think a woman would feel if she suddenly turned and saw someone photographing them from a distance?
Surely behaviour like this is more likely to harm the rainwear community than make outsiders understand it!
I’ve done some street photography in the past but it just didnt make me feel comfortable
I’m unsure why you feel the need to speculate on the previous employment of our Filipino friends, what on earth has this got to do with them modelling rainwear?
You ask for people to ‘calm down’ and say ‘its not for others to judge’ it might be good for you to take a little of your own advice!

Re: New website: www.rainwear-streetshots.com
for what its worth I stand by my comments that taking pictures in the street of people wearing what is practical clothing to then put on the internet for people to admire/masturbate over?/whatever is creepy regardless of whether the guy taking them is young or old. If people are approached and are happy to consent to this then fine. That is only my opinion, others have different moral standards and that is up to them.

+1 and think it can only have a negative effect on the rainwear community
