I work from home but this morning could find little enthusiasm to get down to it as there was something going on outside that was far more exciting!
My next door neighbour, in her mid thirties I would guess, has just had some new fence panels put up. She is now painting them a brown colour obviously to preserve them against the weather. Not wanting to get messy, she is wearing a dark blue nylon rainsuit and yellow rubber gloves. I recognise the rainsuit as I have one myself bought in a local store for about £8. It is quite a warm day here in the south of England so after about three hours she must be getting pretty hot by now and still has two panels to go!
Anyone else used rainwear when painting or decorating? I remember seeing a TV show years ago featuring a young woman wearing just her underwear, a plastic pakamac and polythene rain bonnet to paint a ceiling.
Must go, gotta get back to my bedroom window!!

Im sure you're a Gentleman Phil so why not offer her a helping hand

Re: Painting protection
Did you manage to take a photo of her gently boiling in her rainsuit?
Re: Painting protection
I hope she had boots on and her hood up.

You should have offered her assistance - chance for you to wear the same

Last time I plastered a ceiling, I wore a rainsuit and boots... With nothing much under... and wore the same outfit when the plaster dried, and was leveling it off with a wet sponge.
