I was just reviewing some songs from the 80’s and noticed that Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz went through a “shiny” period.
She wore a very nice black Mac in one version of “Rules of the game”

Going back even further to the 70's these jackets were the forerunner of the plastic jelly jacket. Brotherhood of Man girls wore them for their Eurovision winner on Top of the Pops, but you get a much better view in this video...
