Thankyou rubbermac I have a few more of the black love their weight and feel! also some capes they being yellow will do some pics for the site.

I also have a few Oilskin Capes from the 60s,two yellow and one black,they are great to wear!!

Thanks for those Raincape. I have an ex navy oilskin mack and always say it's my favourite, with the shine, feel and smell of it. Also love your turned down wellingtons - a perfect outfit !!!!!

Raincape...Great pictures of your oilskin mac...I have a similar black diamond oilskin...Very shiny ,heavy weight and lovely aroma.

Thanks Johnnyrbr for your good comments ex navy oilskins are the best, plenty of protection (in more ways!) is what you need!!! Yep occassionally turn the wellies down when I remember or like woolen socks turned over!
