I was driving through the neigbhourhood on Monday, it was very wet and windy. Suddenly, I saw a woman wearing a navy plastic raincoat and nylon rainpants tucked into navy wellies.
There was a woman with her, probably in her late 20s, she had blonde hair, and was wearing a yellow pvc raincoat with blue nylon rainpants tucked into navy wellies.
The wellies they were both wearing reminded me of wellies we wore to school.
I just thought she was her daughter.
She was probably told by her mother to put her wellies on!!!!!

It was hard to tell as they seemed relatively at ease in each other's company as they walked along. I would imagine the mother and daughter live together. Or maybe the daughter moved back in with her mother in the family home therefore handing over power to her mother.
That way her mother perhaps always had her daughter's wellies in the garage and so when she came back to live in the family home, her mother may have insisted on her wearing wellies.

why all the big deal over someone wearing wellies in the rain? I really don't get it. Seems a logical thing to do to me
