Hi Bossali. Yes, you could be right there. Mandy Marsh macs were very much in vogue around that time - Audrey Roberts (played by Sue Nicholls) used to wear a Mandy Marsh mac (long black one) in episodes of Coronation Street around 1989 to 1992. Her mac was a similar style but had wrist straps. Spitfire617 has mentioned Dannimac and I wouldn't rule that one out either - they made a lot of metallic PVC macs around that time. I suppose we'll never know for sure....

Yeas there were several styles, my wife had two Mandy Marsh mac and i knew a model who had several I photographed at the time, Bet Gilroy had a leopard print mac she wore. You could buy them at Debenhams, Watt Brothers in Glasgow, and a couple of local fashion shops
