Wonder which Southern Heritage Railway it was filmed on?

Thanks- Was there in September 19 for The Flying Scotsman Weekend

Southern Region adverts /GWR tank engine in the film.

The Birds Nest Buffet ( as advertised on the film) is on the Swanage Railway in Dorset. :D

Yes indeed.
But North Yorkshire Moors Railway has Southern Locos and did have Malicite Green carriages!

We were going to use the Nene Valley but in the end it was filmed on the Swanage - well spotted 'The Birds Nest'
I remember doing post-production work on that film, removing website addresses, 01929 Swanage telephone codes and the like from the posters and signs, as the customer wanted it as a 1960's period piece - no www in those days :)

You did a great job of editing it
Only me being a steam Anorak nerd that I wanted to know where it was.
Realised that it showed buildings of the town and they are none on the Nene Valley
Long time since I've been on the Swanage Railway

The NYMR would be perfect setting during its Wartime Weekend which is held in September .
