I was searching quite a lot until I found that movie again. It contains several scenes with a lovely shiny yellow sixties style trenchcoat, including the end when the coat is slowly sinking in a pool.

Lovely Jane Asher, Paul Macartney’s girlfriend wearing the yellow Mac.Nice upper-middle class girl, talking with the “shop girl” accent of the day. Not sixties, but early 70’s (film is dated 1971) when minis were at their highest teamed with floor length maxi coats. Love the white boots, so much fashion of the day. Stiffer thicker plastic than much of the swinging sixties macs, probably cotton lined. Lovely for all that.
