It was always a disappointment that when Nerys Hughes went on to star in "The District Nurse", a subject that would seem to offer all sorts of possibilities, there was, as I recall, little or no rainwear or rubber (sheeting/aprons etc) featured at all.

And a disappointment too when she had a new flatmate after Series 4 (Carol - played by Elizabeth Estensen) - nowhere near as good or as funny as when her flatmate was Beryl (played by Polly James) in my opinion. The mac count went down as well after Series 4 - considerably! In fact, after Series 4 finished, I can't think of any episodes that had any mac scenes in them - but I've not seen all the episodes. May have to check a few more out....

'The District Nurse' TV series is not one that rings a bell with me at all but from what you are saying we can more or less rule it out as a possibility for finding any mac scenes in it. Another one to chalk off the list then!
