Re: Advice Please
No brainer! Give her the job as your own personal assistant, with strict pvc uniform regulations. A marvellous way to see you through to retirement. And dont tell the wife!!!

Jellyman
she should either be employed or rejected based on her ability to do the job, you on the otherhand need to control yourself before you get sacked for inappropriate behaviour.

Re: Advice Please
I guess it also depends on the quality of the other candidates and whether giving this candidate the job can be justified. I understand the attraction but I am quite surprised that she considered such jeans 'suitable interview garments'. The sort of thing you wear once you have established some kind of position rather than on first meeting. No? Let us know what happens.

Re: Advice Please
It might be an interesting conversation with any of the other candidates who ask for feedback on why they’d been unsuccessful
‘You did really well in the interview but I gave the job to someone who wore PVC trousers because I’m unable to act professionally’
Meanwhile I’ll add this to my list of things that probably didn’t happen

Re: Advice Please
I once while at county jury selection saw someone dressed in a shiny puffy jacket and pvc pants or at least incredibly shiny polyurethane coated Lycra pants. I could not help think it was a tactical wardrobe to not be selected for a jury on a trial and/or way for court building staff to honor requests or grant special requests. I don’t know what happened but had to wonder.
Re: Advice Please
This candidate doesn't have access to your 'file' JellyMan by any chance - you know that metaphorical source of information about each individual that exists. The one we all have, which sometimes needs to be hidden. I often think I would be a very easy target for being 'honey trapped' by a female wearing shiny pvc raincoat / trousers etc. No plans on becoming a spy so it is unlikely to be an issue!
