This is a wonderful video of Laura Woods, the soccer commentator, who is caught in a wind driven driving downpour while preparing her broadcast following a playoff match between Torquay and Derby in South Devon on November 6, 2022. The video went viral as her fans watched her soaking her coat in the stormy deluge.
With the pouring rain making her caped-back long puffer storm coat appear shiny and wet, I love how it looks like she is wearing a long black rubber raincoat as she gets a good soaking in the torrents.
While I always prefer seeing anyone wearing a long London Fog or Burberry classic Balmacaan raincoat or better yet a long rubber coat, I do enjoy videos such as these. They show how some of the commonly worn black winter storm wear of today can look like a rubber raincoat when they get very wet.

Fantastic for us ... not for her

Laura did say: “Despite the rain, what a day! Loved it!”
I’m an optimist: maybe she did enjoy wearing her raincoat in the downpour.
