For some reason this reminds me of the film till the clouds roll by 1946

There's another film that it reminds me of too - just can't think of it right now. It'll come to me!

Yeah, the scene in 'Till The Clouds Roll By' is very similar - plastic umbrellas being swirled around plus plastic rainwear. The only difference is that they wore plastic macs in 'Till The Clouds Roll By' and capes in this Getty Images clip. I can well understand why it reminded you of the film though. :)

It also reminds me of this film for some reason too: 'Ah! Les Belles Bacchantes' from 1954.

Yes I have seen it - seem to remember the nice mac scene (2 or 3 minutes) is towards the end of the movie.

Update on this one: I've seen the film mentioned several times on the Forum in the past - not sure we've ever had a link to it. I'll do a couple of searches and see if I can find anything. If I do, I'll try and find a decent quality link to it and put it up.
