Fantastic, someone starting to promote and sell Rukka! That just saved my day! Original rainwear has not been in the limelight for Luhta, they've been more on the sidetrack, so I really welcome this attempt. Do you have a stock in UK? If someone from Finland makes an order, where are the items shipped from?
The items you show on the website are for children only. Do you have any intention to include also items for grownup users as well? Maybe you have now contacts with the decisionmakers so that if the signals from the market show that the vintage models might have a specific market segment, then maybe they'll listen to you.

Thanks for the reply. Sunproof (which owns the Rukka Rainwear website) is the sole online distributor for children's Rukka Rainwear Europe-wide.
Someone in Finland is much more likely to find a local retail outlet to pruchase, but as I understand it currently, the would order through RR.com and the stock is held in Somerset and would be shipped from there.

EDIT: I'm informed that Rukka hold the market for Finland so we would not ship there...

Yes, wellyboy, the current line we are dealing with is for children, though not being any particular fan or expert of rainwear in general, I would happily pass on any comments about previous lines or ranges and see if we can get a response from Rukka about reintroducing certain lines.

EDIT: Again, update: Adults clothing is in the pipeline at some point in the near future.

Perhaps folk on this forum could aid me in this process by letting me know of any particular product ranges/names and approx. manufacture dates and then I can make any enquiry to Rukka more specific.
In addition, any photos of garments you may still have would also possibly be helpful in identifying older garments.

The distribution is still a fresh thing, so I would hope there's much room for expansion of offering.

While we are talking about reviving classic Rukka products, I would really like to see the PVC motorbike gear for sale again, the silver / blue and silver / black heavy PVC one and two piece suits from the 80's are legendary!
