It’s probably been mentioned before but the 90s TV series, Brainiac was always good fun - I especially enjoyed series 2 with the ‘explosive of the week’ features. A collection of sexy women would often be wearing leather, plastic and PVC and they would blow stuff up!
One one episode they were seen washing a car with one of the ladies dressed in a yellow mac and sou wester - I watched this in my first flat with my girlfriend and I remember being hugely turned on, especially when she said ‘I bet you would love to see me dressed like that’….. I had no money in those days but wanted to go out and buy a car just so she would wash it dressed in rainwear and wellies - mmmmm
I’m another episode, they played ‘Night on Bare Mountain’ as the girls selected that weeks explosive - another big turn on. I hadn’t told that girlfriend of my classic music thing at that time.
If night on bare mountain had played whilst the girls washed the car in their rainwear, I think I would have exploded!

Re: Brainiac
Thanks for reminding me of the series, I do remember a lot of girls in very few clothes and PVC with rainwear whenever the slightest wet or gungy challenge occurred (which was frequent). There was a kids program in the 90’s where they had a section that involved gunging and the woman presenter, every week, wore a black PVC boiler suit for that section of the show. I can’t remember what the show was but I do remember watching it just for that part. Also loved late night ‘naughty programmes’ when Channel 4 started. The Word, Rapido, Eurotrash, OTT, and there was one hosted by Davina McCall (before she was famous). Davina wore some PVC and you could spot stuff in the audience, but I vividly remember an episode with a woman wearing a light blue dress that had totally transparent plastic sides. The rest was a normal dress, but from the side she was totally naked which I found hugely exciting. Sexcetera had some good stuff on. And one day I turned on the TV late at night (after everyone had gone to bed) and there was a programme on a bit like Sexcetera that did an article on plastic fetish and had the presenter standing naked with a microphone in a field wearing a clear plastic suit. I thought I had died and gone to heaven, but the section was quite short. Alas I didn’t catch the start of the programme, and we didn’t have a VHS, so never found out what it was called.

Yes - channel 4 used to have some good stuff back in the day when it launched. I also remember crackerjack on a Friday would feature a gunging at the end of the show - often a raincoat clad celebrity getting the gunging!
