Ensure you have a a valid email address
While there are plans in the medium term to phase out emails from the site (notification etc) any account with an email address that is invalid runs the risk of being deactivated. Please ensure your account has a valid and working email address associated with it.

Re: Ensure you have a a valid email address
I do not show my email address on my profile. Will this make me liable to deactivation?
Re: Ensure you have a a valid email address
Thanks for the warning rainwearboy. The email address on my account hasn’t worked for years, but I cannot work out how to update my account to a new address which works. Any idea how I can do this?Rainwearboy wrote: January 24th, 2023, 6:12 am While there are plans in the medium term to phase out emails from the site (notification etc) any account with an email address that is invalid runs the risk of being deactivated. After login click on your username.
Then you click "user control panel"
Then on the left side you can see an index tab, there you click on "profile"
Followed by a scroll down, click on "edit account settings"
You will find your Email-address here, in the middle of the page

Rainwearboy/Rubgum.
Have got through to "edit account settings" but cannot find my Email address or place to put it.
I prefer my Email address not to be seen by others as wife/son sometimes look at it.
So what do I do?

Nobody can see your email without having your password for your account,Johnnyrbr wrote: January 25th, 2023, 11:57 am Rainwearboy/Rubgum.

Edit profile
Edit signature
Edit avatar
> EDIT account settings <
Manage “Remember Me” login keys
Edit account settings

Hope it will lead you through the jungle, finding your email.
Don't worry, it took me for a while as well.
Good luck
