I have been reading through the posts recently and I have a question for members. Did anyone's fetish start from being introduced to plastic and rubber by an older person, family or friend etc. Where you forced to become a fetishist by someone who knew what they were doing with you. Not as far as I can recall. It all seemed to come from within. But I got upset/excited when others, principally women in those days, acknowledged/teased me about my continued interest in being put into nappies and plastic pants and not wanting (but really wanting) a rubber sheet.

As a kid I had a Black Vinyl Batman Cape , at night time I would have this in bed with me for the shiny look, the feel and for the smell it was lovely , better than cuddling a teddy bear .

As a kid , don’t remember why discovered black pvc bin bags , and the pleasures found from rubbing against , ever since plastics, pvc, vinyl and patent shiny materials I had a interest in developed into a clothing and plastics fetish

That being said the wearing of them by others allowed me to see those existed- such as wetsuits early on, shiny nylon puffy vests, pvc rainwear, shiny nylon/Lycra pants, rain boots, polyurethane “faux leather”, polyurethane “patent leather” and more. Rubber latex was mainly reading about/seeing it on web sites.

No personal introduction, just views and folks wearing in public. It was a natural “bent” to me since birth showing up at maybe age 5 or 6.

When I was 5 years old, I got a shiny vinyl raincoat, with a wonderful vinyl smell and odor, the material was rustling and crackling, and the shine and noise and odor of the material (70s vinyl) of that raincoat turned me on, and when I started to go to ground ground school in 1972, lots of boys and girls had shiny raincoats, like I had. That even enhanced my fetish for girls and ladies shiny vinyl raincoats. Btw, I don’t get turned on by other shiny vinyl materials, just shiny vinyl raincoats, and just when girls or ladies are wearing them.
