The Nylon prison rainsuit caught my eye as one wouldn't normally associate being in prison with wearing rainwear. However one such sighting I had in the 1970s comes to mind. Opposite Wandsworth Prison in London is a garden centre I used to visit when I lived in the area. Next to it was a plot of land used by the prison and one rainy day I saw a group of prisoners, under the supervision of a prison guard, crossing the road to it all wearing shiny black PVC macks with the prison logo stamped on the back. I wonder if any of the prisoners enjoyed wearing their macs as much as I enjoyed seeing them!
Further comment regarding the nylon prison rainsuit shown in one of these photos: i expect the guards at the prison got used to the sounds of swishing nylon coming from the prisoner cells late at night as horny inmates got it on with each other fully clad in their regulation rainsuits!
Had to pick up my mother-in-law at the airport, weather was weird as it was kind of rainy but still above 20 degrees, so shorts and a puffer seemed in order.
Today we had some flooding so I decided how deep I can go in. Me in short boots and a PVC coat, Rainweargirl in a clear jacket.
We had loads of rain this winter, which is great, however there are warnings that we will be getting a very hot and dry summer. But right now it is still wet and stormy. https://ewn.co.za/2023/09/25/rescue-ope ... loodwaters
Yes, my mother-in-law actually said I look good in that outfit. Rainweargirl said she noticed I got a few interesting looks at the airport.
