The BBC's local correspondent presented her report last night wearing a splendid shiny black cire type mackintosh, presumably because the authorities were using a lot of water cannon to disperse protestors, many of whom were themselves had donned thin plastic ponchos. Maybe more to come.

A longer and better clip than the one I watched. She had fastened her raincoat for Newsnight-maybe it had got colder. She, and the others, are very brave.
