Re: My Trench Coat Collection
Nice collection. Unless I'm mistaken, from the way they are buttoned up they are mainly ladies' trenchcoats but the one on the extreme right of the photo looks like its a man's trench coat from the way it buttons. I have only the one trench coat, a fawn Burberry that I bought in the mid 1990s when they were all the rage but I never see one worn in public these days. Even then most men wore their trenchcoats unbuttoned or with the belt unfastened and hanging loose, a slummy look I thought. I always wore mine fully buttoned up to the neck if raining and belted, or over a suit with the top button of the raincoat unbuttoned and my starched white shirt collar and tie on display.

Welcome, you have an interesting collection Lisa.cdlisa242 wrote: June 16th, 2024, 5:16 am Morning all,
New member but have been an observer of this forum for a few years now.
Don't have any rubber rainwear (yet) but thought you all might enjoy a photo I took yesterday of my current and growing trench coat collection.
If the photo doesn't give it away, I like women's double breasted trench coats with belt buckle waist and wrists, gunflap across the fastened side and hook / eye collar with classic style button epaulettes.
Looking forward to becoming a regular contributor on here and getting to know some of you.

I understand. The mac suits you very much, albeit I would have loved to see the top button fastened
