Cagoule weather

Had to put my cagoule on last couple of days round here. Love wearing it out. I recently had to go away for work up in Norwich and I had my cagoule with me. I’ve read on here about enjoying sleeping in our rainwear so I gave it a try…..
With the lights off and zipped up with the hood tied up tight it was a bit of a turn on. I had my phone and so I put ‘Night on bald mountain’ on and imagined by wife up a mountain battling a storm in her cagoule. Wind and rain lashing her. Mmmm that was fun…..

Today is perfect cagoule weather. It is warm and there are lots of showers about. I have just come inside after being in a heavy shower. This time I wore my navy blue Mountain Warehouse cagoule and green trousers. I love the feeling of being protected from the rain and the thin material sticking to my warm skin.

It looks as if we are going to get a good spell of rain here in the South West of England tomorrow, wether I am in a cagoule or a mac I am yet to decide.

What did you decide to wear? I’ve been out in my cagoule today. Dark blue regatta packaway pro. Lovely to have a t shirt on with the cagoule zipped over the top. I enjoyed putting the hood loosely over my head and letting the light wind play with it a little bit….

I had a purple and green cagoule from Millets many years ago. Proper zingy nylon with a super rubbery lining. When the sun came out it smelled a bit like latex and of course was super warm. Those were the days.

I wore a PVC mac on the outward journey, but I had a thin nylon cagoule in my haversack, when the rain stopped I changed into that for the return trip, as you say it is nice to wear a tee shirt with a cagoule on top. There was heavier rain in the evening but unfortunately I had gone to see my neighbour and I couldn't go out in it.
