How did you discouver the other fetisjists on Internet?

Post by Peter Haaswijk »

Hello All. :)
Sometimes I read here on the Forum about the people who introduces themselves and say the always had thought that they were the only (man ) in the world with their PVC fetish (Like me )
Now my question : How did you discover there were more than one person with his fetisch ?

I take myself as example :
Every year we have our holidays in Oberstdorf, Germany ,in the Bavarian Alps.
It rains often there.
So I took always my PVC raincoat with me on holidays.
I had not a computer connected to Internet then in about 1998 .
Later, one day as I was connected to Internet, I was searching on Google about the quantity of rain falling in that region , and in which month.
And there I saw a sentence in German about a man, who confessed that he liked looking at women in PVC raincoats and also liked it to wear raincoats.(!!!!)
I was shocked by reading that, and soon I found some fora about PVC and so on.
That was the beginning of new experience, you all will understand.
Greetings ,Peter

Before the Internet era, I also thought that I am really the only human being on the planet that is into shiny plastic PVC raincoats. Then in 1998 I discovered some rainwear forums on the Internet, and I was glad that others had the same passion and that they even want to talk about.
I always thought that other people like the Latex fetish or Latex clothing, but never could imagine, that others like shiny PVC raincoats like I do.
Before 1998 I have never seen a guy wearing a shiny PVC raincoat, even not on photos on the Internet.
I knew that TVs do exist, but I also never have seen a TV wearing a lasies raincoat as a cross-dresser.

Similar to djphobos I typed shiny black pvc womens raincoats into google images and discovered a wonderful world of pictures of people who had similar tastes in rainwear as myself.

Hi,

I guess I am an early internet adopter, it was 1993 for me, and it was searches at that time in yahoo, since google did not really exists. But the sensation to discover that one was not alone with the fetish for rainwear was awesome......

Cheers from the *right now* rainy Budapest, Hungary :)

I'm a 25 yr old guy, who is pretty much of a fetishist. One my main fetishes is - of course - rainwear. My two main interests in this matter is

a) very heavy raingear (and boots preferably) - yet I don't have much gear in this, it is the pervier side of me so to say :)
and
b) unlined, just-a-lil-bit-shiny, swishy rainwear.

My rainwear fetish is pretty much connected to my weather "fetish" -cannot really wait for it to rain! :)- all the looks of clouds, thunder, etc...lovely!

and also, I happen to have a thing for clear - plastic umbrellas...maybe with some hot asians under them ;)

all the best,
george

Welcome to this forum, Gyuri !
It's nice to hear that it rains in Budapest.
I like this city and the country very much.
You mentioned that you like the shiny plastic raincoats.
Is Budapest a good place for shiny rainwear sightings ?
When I visisted Budapest, I haven't seen any ladies wearing shiny PVC raincoats.
There aren't too many shops selling rainwear, I assume.
I haven't seen a shop selling shiny plastic rainwear.
Are there any companies in Hungary who produce or sell plastic rainwear ?
I know the czech company Deston in Prague (www.deston.cz),
but I have never been to Prague yet.
Cheers

My first 'encounter' was with the fantasic Patty's Parlour I guess I must have just typed 'plastic macs' into whatever search engine was available at that time

I'd always thought I couldnt be the only one but this site confirmed it

She even managed to get a regular chatroom session sorted out with a few of us joining in

Does anyone else remember Patty?

Before the internet all the information about fetishes came thru magazines which you could find in porno shops. In Germany I found a product catalogue of Peter Lampe, who made various garments in latex and plastic. Next time I was in Hamburg I reserved some time to visit the shop. At the time my primary interest was rubber. German illustrated magazines had almost in every issue small adds on Latex clothes. When they advertise them so often, there must be people to buy those things. But where are they? No way to contact them. Once I also visited Weathervain and that gave me really the feeling of being in paradise. The same feeling came when I visited Boutique Fancy in Basel. Yet I had no contacts with any other likeminded fetishist among my countrymen. I started to use internet in 1993. It wasn't that easy as it is today. From the net I started to find pics and sites that showed that there must be people who are into this 'hobby'. I started a Onelink/Egroup/Yahoo group called 'kumia_ja_muovia' which attracted almost 2000 members before it was deleted. Still no real contact with any other person. At the same time another guy here in Finland had started a story site 'rainwear stories'. As there were no pics, but as stories attracted also female writers, I realised that there are real people even here who connect rainwear and other shiny materials with sexuality. Those were the first people that I met in real life and we have maintained contacts ever since.
