Yesterday evening my wife and I went out to a resturant and as it was raining we both wore our Weathervain black PU coats. Nobody seemed to take any notice of us but I am sure that many were thinking what appropriate dress for the weather.
I wonder how many others were suitably addressed yesterday.

Not many 
I was in town most of yesterday and in the morning it was that very fine rain that somehow manges to soak you and later in the afternoon it became really heavy
Lots of people about, students, tourists and people just going about their daily business, rainwear?? not a single piece of decent rainwear, not even a poncho that some tourists seem so fond of

Sadly only time I got out in the rain was at about 6.30pm & that was to go from gym to car , a distance of about 50 yds - & my waterproof was in the car boot.....doh!!
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)
