the 90's were a time when pvc rainwear was still common. all because of the pvc health scares and change in fashion is why it is rare to run into. the way i see it, iconic rainwear is either pvc or rubber.

....but when you look at fashion shows from 2023 and 2024 online there are seemingly models wearing macs (PVC/PU/latex) everywhere! What's going wrong? That said, Primark recently had PU macs from the Rita Ora collection on sale at their stores - didn't see too many women wearing them on the streets though - sadly.
