What does slipping into a Mac do for you ?
Re: What does slipping into a Mac do for you ?
Bound up in pvc from head to toe that would include a gas mask, rubber gloves, and wellingtons. I think that would be great and left like it for an hour to sweat.

For me the attraction is based around the look of it and the feel of it, and I also enjoy the sensation of being out in the rain wearing it. It is only in the last 4 or 5 years that I have felt confident enough to wear a long mac out in public and there is a sense of it being a bit daring, exciting to go out in a long mac.

Yes!!! Combining a Mac with boots, gas mask, gloves is such a perfect combo. I love the feeling of power and protection a Mac gives. Just love the dominant look of it, the smooth folds of rubber creasing over my body. Combine with riding boots and a crop, and I feel I can do some naughty things. I get quite excited even thinking about getting dressed. It's quite an experience wearing it on a windy wet day in a muddy trail.cyclecape wrote: August 26th, 2024, 4:56 pm Bound up in pvc from head to toe that would include a gas mask, rubber gloves, and wellingtons. To be honest, I only have oone ankle length PVC mac in my extensive collection, the vast majority of my rainwear is made up of 2/3 piece rainsuits and 1 piece coveralls, I do love to be completely covered and have more wellies, waders, rubber, PVC and motorbike gloves, helmets and gas masks than I have space for, it's become an addiction, searches on ebay keep coming up with incredible pieces of rainwear I just have to have, from all over the world, America, China, Europe, Japan, Australia, South Africa, I've bought from them all, it doesn't matter where it comes from, the thrill of slipping into some rainwear the postman has just delivered always puts the same massive smile on my face
Wearer of Waterproofs & Waders - as often as possible!
